Chak De India.......

Sorry for posting something abt CDI, at the time when people started forgetting the movie. I dont like SRK and this was the reason enough to not to watch the movie. No.... its not that SRK is bad actor but to me, he is pretty monotonous (CDI is shockingly a pleasant exception), always doing the same lover boy -romancing-and-weeping-act. So i avoided the CDI till now. But yesterday when i was trying to save myself from horrendous India TV news and was surfing the channel desperately, i just got glued to a local movie channel and i just couldnt move myself from the chair. The channel was playing CDI and the movie is so enchanting that you just cant keep your eyes off the screen. The second half pumps your adrenaline like never before as the SRK gals hockey team start off their journey towards the hockey world cup. there are moments of disappointments and winning, moments of heartbreak and smiling faces, momenats of losing and satisfaction of winning.
I liked the movie very much and after a long time i liked any movie so much that i am going to buy a DVD to update my home collection.
Its truly a masterpiece, as far as SRK is concerned, it was just a miracle that i liked him. So SRK please give us more such movies and increase your fan following...
To sum it up i would like to say it was an wholesome entertainer. here goes the lyrics of title track...

kuch kariye kuch kariye nuss nuss meri khaule… hoye kuch kariye
kuch kariye kuch kariye buss buss bada bole… ab kuch kariye
ho… koi to chal zidd fariye
doobe, kariye ya mariye
haye.. koi to chal zadd fariye doobe, kariye ya mariye
chak de… ho chak de india chak de… ho chak de india
nowhere to run nowhere to hide
this is the time to do it now
goonjon mein galiyon mein

hunkara aaj bhar lein dus baarah baar kar lein

pisna yuhin pisna yuhin pisna yuhin bas kariye….
koi to chal zidd fariye
doobe, kariye ya mariye haye..
koi to chal zadd fariye doobe, kariye ya mariye
chak de… ho chak de india chak de… ho chak de india
nowhere to run nowhere to hide
this is the time to do it now
ladtee patangon mein
bhidti umangno mein
khelon ke melon mein
balkhati railon mein
ganno ke meethe mein
phakkar mein cheente mein
dhundo to mil jaaye
patta wohi jo mein
rang aisa aaj nikhre aur khul ke aaj bikhre
mann gaaye aisi boli rugg rugg mein jal ke boli
tass hai na mass hai ji zidd hai to zidd hai ji
pisna yuhin pisna yuhin pisna yuhin bas kariye….
koi to chal zidd fariye
doobe, kariye ya mariye
haye.. koi to chal zadd fariye doobe, kariye ya mariye
chak de… ho chak de india chak de… ho chak de india
